Horse hair pots....gone viral!
For my first post, I thought it would be prudent to have something truly spectacular to share with you all. I've been racking my brain for the past few weeks, trying to think of what could possibly be worthy of 'blog-launch' status and I kept coming up empty!
Finally, this week, the karma gods showed me the way...
Horse hair pots!
I'm not sure how I didn't see it before now. I sold almost all of the hair pots I had at my very first street fair, and it seems everyone and their mother go ga-ga over them. So I recently had another hair pot firing, and thought I'd take a video for my Instagram. No biggie, I do that kind of stuff all the time.
Well, I was walking to the train on my morning commute the day after posting the video on my Instagram, and nearly fell over when I saw how many views it had! Over 700! Now I know that may not sound like a lot to you all, but let me put this in perspective for you...the other videos I've posted (which have been up for months) had only ever gotten about 200. Yeah.
So of course, I kept an eye on Instagram and checked in throughout my work day. Each time I checked, views went up by at least 100. By the end of the day I had broken 1,000 with the number steadily climbing. As of this moment, I'm almost to 35,000 views and
350 likes, which is big for me. So I am listening to the karma gods, and sharing the 'video that went viral' (sort of).
No that is not my pot, and no those are not my hands :)
